Let's not lose track of the purpose of this thread - finding a widescreen solution for NHL08!!!

That's how mine was at 1440 x 900 as well... game in the upper left, overlays in the right spot.

My GFX Mode was set to 2 by default, and I was hacking sgsm2.cfg...

My native resolution is 1440 x 900. After a fresh install, my only resolution options in-game are 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600. I tried the hack on both the sgsm4.cfg files, but when going back into the game I still only had 1024 and 800 to choose from.

So, I figured I'd try hacking the sgsm2.cfg ...
