From the makers of DESCENT comes OVERLOAD

So four of the original developers for the game descent have grouped together to make overload and yes, their (AMAZEBALLS) teaser version works well in :triplewide: !!
It is a 6DoF shooter that is clearly inspired by descent.

Go to https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/re ... dom-shoote for more information, it really needs a boost to get funded!

Re: Noob – preparing for thigh bugged test eyefinity setup 3

You might want to look at the Matrox Triple Head to Go TH2G. You would not need any other equipment. The problem is that it is not cheap and has limitations on the resolutions you can use.

Re: Multi Monitor gaming... for multiple players

I have done a fair amount of research into Local Multiplayer games. There are not many out ther as there is a limited market. I have never seen one that supports multiple screens. However if you find a split screen game you might be able to trick it into using multiple screens by arranging your ...

Re: Best Racing Wheel For PC

I use Logitech Momo wheels on the simulators that I rent out.
They can be had for as little as 30 USD on craigslist, I don't always recommend used gear, these wheels are an exception because of their durability, I have purchased four used wheels all in perfect condition
The pedals grip carpet ...

Re: Steam : what do you think about it? any quirks ?

I very much like steam for non-subscription based games and would even be willing to pay a premium for a game on Steam VS a disc and CD key.

The ability to keep all m games "in the cloud" versus in a desk drawer is quite comforting. I feel like I can't loose them this way. Also consolidated ...

Re: LCD Stripping for Bezel Management

I would like to do this, if I ever come into some cheap 15 inch XGA resolution displays I am gonna go for it just to test feasibility.

Another much easier project it to mount fresnel lenses in front of screens. This can if done right give a completely seamless display and also give the affect ...
