Crysis runs about 10-15% faster on 64 bit..
The best proof would be if some ran a benchmark on the same hardware and same game settings, using Vista 64 and Vista 32. (or Xp64 and Xp32)
NOT Vista 64 and Xp 32 like that linked article.

Plasma: 1024x786 = 16:9???
**Warning confusing post for experts... or people who know more than me**
Ok so LCD widescreen is around 1336x768...BUT.. PLASMA is at 1024x768. I gathered this is because PD (plasma displays) dont have square pixels. So heres my silly question.....

Haven't tested LAN yet. Yes, you have to be signed in to Windows Live. No, you do not need gold to play the game. (Although, I haven't tried multiplayer yet, I don't know if that's needed for MP or not.)
Wait... so if we have a bunch of PCs in a friends garage for a Lan, we HAVE to all connect ...

UT 3's Widescreen support thread on Epic Forums. Vanished...
These things I found funny from those boards...
1) Most of the people against Hoz+ own 4:3 monitors.
2) Some Unreal Engine fans seem to think that Bioshock is the only game using Hoz-
.. ah internet wars.

All three ! ...
The Unreal III engine has ini files where the user can easily change various setting in their game.
2K removed the ability for the users to change the FOV.
EA left in some of the ability to change the FOV in MoHA demo ... but not all.

Proof that Bioshock's FOV was no ... design decision ... ?
It is possible to make the engine horz+ ... providing the developers don't lock the FOV as they did in Bioshock ... to me it is clearly the developers fault.
Thats true. Since hacks exist, it definately means that the Engine can do proper widescreen.
I just find it wierd that even Epic ...

FYI, another Gears of War example of -Hoz "widescreen". (not my image)
At first its easy to blame Irrational for the whole Bioshock widescreen saga but these type of screenhot seem to be pointing the blame at Unreal Engine 3.0 more and more? :?

And finally, I want to personally congratulate Racer_S from the Widescreen Gaming Forums, and his awesome user patch to expand the widescreen FOV in BioShock. I'm currently tracking him down via email, but hopefully, he'll accept my gratitude, and maybe an Nvidia 8800 to boot.
Wow dude. Now ...
