Is there or is there not a way to force the equivalent of the console command "fov #" through the ini file?
75 looks horrible to me whether its technically right/wrong or whatever.
***EDIT***
To clarify, making changes to "fDefaultFOV=75.0000" is saved in the ini but i still have to ...

Thank god for that, the NDA is finally off.
They have stripped ultra basic base game elements like hardcore difficulty, storage space size, character slots etc just to try and make the subscription seem valuable.
Order cancelled.

So, I wouldn’t hold my breath on an official fix guys, remember when they were locking and deleting your threads that were asking about widescreen fov a few weeks back, they are now doing that on discussions of forcing users to use gamespy and unavailability of nicknames.
So much for Epic.

I changed my FOV from default 65 to 85 which improves it a little, the command was something like "seta cg_fov xx" but if you just type fov in the console it seems to list every viable code with those letters which is nice.

STALKER info ...
I was really looking forward to STALKER prior to release as I was pretty desperate to get away from TES4, barring a couple of minor problems with retail I made the mistake of rushing the game then as soon as I had played through it once started tinkering with it.

Sorry, I am too tired to write out a thoughtful and meanful responce to this other than oh ff sake.
I will join that forum tomorrow, I really, really hope this is not a sign of how things are going to be as the rule rather than the exception.

Bioshock discrepancy with walking official responce
Maybe I am overreacting but are 2K actively trying to piss off the PC community, I realise some don’t care if we can walk or not but then it should not affect them if they did implement a toggle.

I really was torn on whether to post this in its own thread or an existing thread but I ended up putting it in its own, partially because I am having a hard time believing I just saw it with my own eyes.

Um, guys when I attacked a solitary BD in the game a massive text message covered my screen saying not to attack solitary enemies, there may have also been a raido call explaining not to do it but, well I was fighting a DB at the time so I was not paying much attention to it.

Glad this is pretty much sorted now, I just find it funny people are still arguing back and forth on the 2K thread.

I don’t think it would be prudent to start yet another BioS thread at the moment so just asking here, has anyone else thought that the hud elements are just a little off whatever you do if your in widescreen?

Just to confirm, since my last post I saw the advice to try using the fix when using the Games Explorer DX9 mode option so I thought I should give it a go.
That’s just another user posting to say that the fix worked perfectly in DX9 mode but unfortunately I simply can’t get it to function ...

There is no need to theorize on what is "almost certainly isn't the case". Just look at the facts that are available or test it for yourself and give people some evidence, not what you personally feel they couldn't possibly have done (based on NOTHING). Seriously, stop with the crap. It just makes ...
