| Just a quick update to confirm that this hack still works with the latest Red Alert 3 patch for version 1.8. |

| That is something I had to disable in my BFMEII mods. I also had to fix the soundFX rendering since the game ties the virtual microphone to the distance from the camera. Have you noticed any of the 3D sound FX being silent or abnormally quiet using this fix? From your screenshot it looks like the s... |

| can anyone tell me how to set this game to 1360x768? I've tried the shortcut method, but looks like no use at all. Thanks! I only know of using the shortcut parameters for non-native resolutions eg. -xres 3840 -yres 1024 (replace with your own X and Y) Works for me. Only it's too bad the game crops... |

| check this out! ScrollPitchMultiplier = -1.00 (0.15 default) DefaultCameraPitchAngle = 10.5 (37.5 default) Quick question, are you using the shortcut parameters to set your resolution? I'm doing that to stretch the game screen to 3840x1024, and I've tried your edited Misc.big file, as well as using... |

The screen does display at 3840x1024, but it crops it by doing so. You notice this when you come up to an intersection and have to wait until the green light, but because of the cropped screen you can't see the traffic lights.
Funny game though. |

| Oh sweet ... i had no idea FX series were capoble of running in multiples. I thought Opterons were the only ones. You've got some serios prossesing power there. I've never had the pleasure of running an Opteron system. I upgraded from a single AMD 64 3200+ processor. So this is quite an upgrade for... |

If there isn't a specific reason you have for using the PowerDesk software, I would say to just uninstall it if you can, or revert back to a restore point.
I'm running Vista Ultimate x64 without the PowerDesk software installed and the TH2G works great. |

| You can choose almost every resolution in the menu. :? Really? How do you see that? All I get in the video options is just the standard 4:3 or 5:4 resolutions which max out at 1600x1200. In order to go to the TH2G max I have to use the shortcut parameters. With CoH or SC my desktop res of 3840x1024... |

| I'm glad EA have done this, lets hope all there games from now on actually have good widescreen support. Well, I wouldn't go so far as to praise EA yet, as this is a hack of a widescreen support. I mean, if they really wanted to support the resolutions why not put them in the video options menu lik... |

The res. is set in the game.ini in the c & c directory.
Hmm...my C&C3 Demo directory doesn't have this file. Could it be located somewhere else on my system?
I've checked in the My Docs folder(s) and there's nothing there either.
Thanks for the help. |

| Hey all, I've installed the C&C3 demo, and I read somewhere that there is native support for widescreen modes, but when I go into the options menu the highest resolution I can go is 1600x1200. I am running my system on the TH2G, but would that matter? I tried looking for a config file somewhere, but... |
