the custom resolution is doesn't work because when the game loaded. it used the 800x600 resolution then i set it to 1280x960 which make the picture stretched even i set custom resultion commandline in game shortcut icon.

i was talking about BF2142 not BF2 so i deleted the BF2142 folder in my document and it worked

yeh will play with that resolution and see what happen

Delete the bf2 folder in your My Documents folder.
Restart the game .

now i set the commandline as +szx 1280 +szy 768 for desktop icon but in the game video setting there is no 1280x768 ...

I have 22' Chimei 221D widescreen and when i double click the game shortcut on desktop it goes black screen for a few seconds then flash back to desktop.

i also tried "C:Program FilesElectronic ArtsBattlefield 2142BF2142.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 720 command lind but it still ...
