Try /cg_fov 80, I recall having to put the slash before that command in some game recently.
This didn't work for me either, thanks though.
I'm using 1.0, I'll download the patch and try it. |

Is there another way to alter the FOV in this game other than through the console?
I've been trying cg_fov 80 but it has no effect at all. Is there something I need to type first? Can I edit a config somewhere?
This is for offline single-player, by the way. |

| Note that while this works, it completely breaks the sniper rifle obviously, and the 'cut-scene' associated with that bit of the game. Before starting this, it would be worth changing your controls to the "toggle" zoom, which should have been left untouched in your config files. After that part is o... |

| Hi everyone, Sorry if this has been asked before - I searched but couldn't find anything. I recently got the BF2 Complete Collection disc and am using the command line to force a custom resolution. BF2 and the Booster pack maps work fine, but when I try to join a SF server, the game has to change to... |

Thanks for the replies!
Squ1zzy's new patcher solved the problem, so it's working perfectly well now.
Thank you for all the help you have offered, this site really is one of the best resources out there. Keep up the excellent work! |

| Thanks for replying! The game works fine in other resolutions (apart from being stretched) - the transparency only happens when choosing a widescreen res. My desktop and all other games are set to 1360 x 765 (it only works in 765, not 768 for some reason) and none of them have any problems. All my d... |

| Hi all, I know this has been asked before, but when I checked the link was broken, so sorry for having to ask again. I have tried to put R6 Vegas into widescreen using both the .bin files and squizzy's patcher, but whenever I load the game the screen becomes transparent with a yellowish tinge to eve... |
