Multi-Game Widescreen Fixer
Im not quite sure if this patch actually makes BF2 widescreen as such, to me it just seems to zoom the field of view out further thus give the impression of seeing more of the playing field. The actual Aspect ration of builds etc does change does it? Nor does the HUD???

Prey Resolution Question
You get the same effect if your monitor has a fill option in the aspect settings, like my Dell:
1:1
FILL
ASPECT
As long as you select the right aspect ratio in the Prey video options you get the same display as you would if you edited the config file!

GRAW footage ... with and without the PhysX ...
This just suggests to me that it will make programers even more lazy. The particle effects and destructable environments on FEAR seem to be on a par with those effects from the GRAW video at the top of this thread. So why is there a need for this card really?? isnt it just a case of the company ...

BF2 wont run at all on new 27" Westinghouse monitor
Yep, had the same problem with my new Dell monitor. Had the refresh rate set at 80hz for my old monitor, the Dell can only haddle 60hz!, so was kicking me out of BF2. You need to delete or edit all the video config files for BF2, also found in My documents, aswell as the BF2 folder!!!

So why do object/people get fatter when they are at the edges of the screen, then get to the correct aspect ratio when you turn to face them? Is there a way to fix this? is it down FOV editing?
