So, anyone gotten this game to work correctly with XP and widescreen? All I get is jumbled colors/low resolution... no detail. I tried the one patch I found and it did nothing.

How does one run it in a smaller screen area, but with better detail?

Also, about Myst DVD collection. I got ...

I can't get either to work correctly on my laptop. I know the myst DVD collection (Myst,Riven,Exile) is made for XP.

I take it they are conflicting with widescreen?

I get them to start, but its in huge pixelation...like 640x480 resolution.

Can I change it to work on my 15.4" display ...

Just got a laptop, and would like to know if we can play Doom 3 right out of the box without tweaking the specs etc.

Anyone have it running on a laptop?

HP zx5000 - P4 3.0HT, 15.4" Brightview WXGA - 128mb ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 - 512MB SDRAM (1x512) - 60GB 5400 ...

So, anyone place online have this available?

But, does it affect game play? I mean is it real distracting?

About Syberia and other adventure, games like The Longest Journey. Will this play okay on a 15.4 widescreen? I know they won't be in widescreen format, but will it look normal and play normal right out of the box?
