Just wated to pass along that Bounty Bay On-line DOES have the ability to go widescreen. I am reporting this because all my searches claimed that 1280 x 1024 was the higest resolutuon it would support. However, after some 'poking' around and testing, I have found that with a quick edit of an ini file [core.ini], it takes 16:10 (1680X1050) like a charm.
*NOTE: please make sure to create a copy of any file BEFORE you edit it*
Location of ini to make the change:
%your installation path%\voyage\core.ini
Edit the ini in your favorite text editor and change the following variables:
full_screen = 1 ----------> default was (0)
;screen_x = 800
;screen_y = 600
screen_x=1680 ----------> default was (1080)
screen_y=1050 ----------> default was (1024)
* Make sure to change the full_screen= variable to 1 or the program will fail (at least it did for me).
The above settings are what worked for me, now I am able to play in wide screen bliss. Now all I need to do is learn to play the game
