Read Full Detailed Report - World of Subways

World of Subways is a standalone train sim series focusing on urban passenger transport (subways, city trains, trams). It features control over radio announcements, first-person free roaming in stations as well as detailed graphics with 3D cab controls, dynamic lights and motion blur. Vol. 1 : The Path models the route between New Jersey and NYC. An add-on has been released that introduces missions besides the basic schedules. Vol. 2 : U7 will take players to Berlin.

Comparison screenies that didn't fit in the detailed report... Maybe I'll post "beauty shots" later, the game has its flaws but it sure looks good.

There are 3 train models, each of which you can freely visit.

The cab without HUD overlays. You can move your head around. TrackIR support is said to be under way. The controls are animated 3D models.

Fixed outside camera view in a station. There are mock-up ads everywhere in the game. Texture quality is somewhat limited.
