Game runs on Cry Engine V, I've tried the usual setting r_width/r_height and the game initially launches in ultrawide mode then forces itself into window mode at 2560x1440.

The console appears to be disabled so I can't set it ingame either to force it.

The game is free to download, if someone with a bit more experience on this could have a look it'd be greatly appreciated!

the game already support ultrawide native . try to run fullscreen then select the resolution in video settings

It doesn't support 3440x1440. The maximum resolution it'll go is 2560x1440 and then it'll just stretch it to fullscreen.
