Hi guys, please someone could fix the broken 21:9 on this game? Because when i tried to change resolution to 25060x1080 (tried the EDF 4.1 trick on wsgf and directly in the game) nothing work correctly, it's look streched...

I'd love a fix too

Hex editing works for me and the game gets rendered in 3440x1440 but the problem is the UI, menu and loading screen. They all gets cut off the screen from top and bottom.

Same here maybe we need to change FOV? but i don't know how to do this... if someone could contact jackfuste each time he's doing an amazing job, the others too but i remenber he worked on the EDF 4.1 fix.

Edit: if you let it in 2560x1080 and disable letterbox the scale is good but its stretched and blurry...

I want to share with @everyone an issue that has beset the WSGF over the last week or so. Google has decided that the files we host (exe files, patchers, etc.) are malware. Thus, they have flagged the entire WSGF as hosting and/or linking malware, which inhibits site access and search rankings.

Both the WSGF and our older media server (WSGF Media dot com) have been flagged. We have found a solution for our hosted files, via our friends at PC Gaming Wiki. However, we still have an issue with the forums linking to the old WSGF Media server.

There is no feasible way to go through the forums and edit the possible thousands of posts that reference the WSGF Media server. And there is absolutely no guarantee that Google won't ping some future post attachment and flag the entire site again.

The forums are much quieter today then they used to be, with just 1 or 2 active posts per day on average, on top of this we continue to have issues with bots or humans creating accounts to post spam. Additionally, the forums have hampered our ability to enable HTTPS and update the site to be more modern and mobile friendly.

The internet itself has also shifted, with sites like Reddit and services like Discord, YouTube and Twitch being where most discussion happens. Given all of the above we are exploring the idea of "archiving" the forums into their own domain so that everything could be read, but no new posts or accounts could be created. We would then direct all new discussion to a Reddit community and/or our Discord server, which we hope will make discussing and working on fixes more practical.

We are really at a crossroads where the forums have gone from being a minor or moderate inhibitor to growth of the WSGF, to now a major roadblock (thanks to Google). We need a road forward, and wanted to reach out to the community to socialize the issue and our ideas, and to get your feedback.

MAYBE i found a solution but i need someone to confirm it please, in the EDF 5 folder you have a file named " Chunk01 " open it with hex editing software and replace 398EE33F by 26B41740 (for 2560x1080) or 8EE31840 (for 3440x1440) or 9A991940 (for 3840x1600) (EDF 4.1 fix) and let fullscreen ON and letterbox OFF in ingame displays settings, for me it looks great but i don't remember exactly how it was without this that's why i ask to someone to confirm it please let me know thanks.
BTW!!! make a backup of this original file (Chunk01) because its a BIG file (9.8go)!

Yes, sorry to report it does not work for me either. No different than hex-editing the .exe. UI extends well beyond viewable area, therefore unplayable. (triple wide setup)

did you hex editing EDF5.exe AND Chunk01 ? me i just change the occurence in Chunk file i don't touch the EDF5.exe. Don't edit both just the chunk file because when i tried with the EDF.exe this broke the UI.

i play on a single screen on 2560x1080.

If I hexedit only Chunk01, the UI, while stretched, does remain entirely on the screen, as in your screenshots. However, the 3D graphics are horrendously stretched, not maintaining the designed aspect ratio. This is grossly obvious on triple wide. It might be subtle enough that on 21:9, its worth playing. Your screenies look pretty good, but in triples, its unacceptable.

(BTW, there are two instances the hex edit program finds in Chunk01. I replaced both.)

Still hoping of a dedicated fix...Will donate.

bad news dude sorry that doesn't worked for you, for me i just have 1 occurence in the chunk file. Hope you or someone could find a fix for you. For me it work great.... but sad that doesn't work for everyone good luck bro.

I had both edited, but the pictures you attached seems stretched to me

humm damned on my screen its look great but maybe its streched i don't know but its better than black bars, just MY opinion ok sorry guys hope someone found a real fix. good luck.
