Hey guys,

I edited the exe files to support 21:9 resolutions without the blackbars:

3440x1440 (Updated link on 20th May 2019): https://files.fm/f/p5m4ccm3

2560x1080 (Updated link on 20th May 2019): https://files.fm/f/m9bt6ybs

Game on

If somebody does not want to download .exe files, just change 39 8E E3 3F ONLY HERE (there are 3 occurrences) in the mgv.exe



to whatever you want (eg. for 21:9 (2560x1080): 26 B4 17 40 ).

Working for me without any graphic errors so far. Will report back.

Thats right! If ypu guys dont want to download the exe files, you can just do what Risodon have said.

Unfortunately as of this morning this fixed .exe no longer works for me in 3440x1440 21:9
The game simply wouldnt start through Steam so I replacerd the original .exe, validated files (it downloaded something?) and the game only runs in 16:9 now.
Is there a way to re-fix it?

I applied your updated fix, and i get this error when starting the game, and then its just a black screen. See Photo https://imgur.com/vxTPWku

Its sad that its 2018 and we need to modify game files to support these resolutions. Especially from a AAA Developer

This doesnt seem like an exe issue, are you sure you are running the game with the latest update? Some people used the fixes with no issues at all

I understand what your saying, but i have replaced the modified exe file with the backup i made and it loads normally every time. But as soon as i use the modifed one Linked on this post i always get that error and cant play.

Wgen was the last time you updated the game? Did iu verify the game fies using steam?

Yes when i verify the game files, one item fails, and is re downloaded, which appears to be the main exe file, which when loaded doesn't have the widescreen fix,

Hmmm .. i need to check steam once im back home .. maybe they released something .. which fix did u try to use? 3440x1440?

Yeah thats the one. I just downloaded a hex editor and did what one of the earlier posts suggested. It appears to be working for me.

Perhaps they had another update? Not sure. You may need to updated that file again

Any chance you know if its also possible to fix the FOV? Im using standard AR on a 43" 4K Monitor, but the FOV is really narrow.
