(GOG and STEAM Version)it seems working with hex editing, but doesnt works perfectly
How to get 21:9 working ?Open file in folder Cuphead\Cuphead_Data\Managed Assembly-CSharp
Look for
39 8E E3 3F and change EVERY Instance to
60 E5 18 40. enjoy

Problem is assets render screen 16:9 ratio and you'll get black bar on Boss stages and tutorial.

3840 x 1080 right ? maybe 3840/1080 = 3.555555555555556 convert to hex is 39 8E 63 40

hello sorry on my son's computer I installed it and you see black parts on the top and bottom you could help me with that.
the resolution of your computer is 1280x1024

hello the resolution of the pc is 1280x1024 and the aspect ratio I think is 5: 4 or 5: 3. I hope you help me with that.

1280x1024 its 5:4 , maybe 5:4 = 1.25 convert to hex is 00 00 A0 3F . no guarantee is works to remove vertical black bars

6040/1080 = 5.592592592592593 convert to hex is 85 F6 B2 40
