Cant get the resolution correct

Hey,
Just set up my 3x1 landscape with eyefinity but it reports a res of 5760x1064. And I seem to get problems when trying to play games with that res, a blank screen. Just wondered if any one had a solution? Latest drivers installed, windows updates installed etc. I'm assuming I'll need to get it to read as 5760x1080 for it to be supported in games.
The game i was testing on was Elite: Dangerous. I have a 27" center monitor with 2x 24" side monitors.
