Nvidia Suround with two differnt monitors?

Quick question. I currently have two GTX 970s in SLI. Right now I have an Acer XB240 G-sync 144hz (24in), and an ASUS VG248QE 144hz (24in). I want to pick up a 2nd VG248QE and have one on either side of my Acer monitor. Basically a 144hz g-sync flanked by two normal 144hz panels. I went on Nvidias website and it said a requiremtn to nvidia surround was all monitors need to be the same make and model? Is this a real requirement or can i still game on all 3 with Nvidia surround just fine?

I would really appreciate your guys feed back, please let me know. Also if it is possible can I have the G-sync on a displayport, and the two asus on DVI, to still work?

AFAIK You don't need the same Monitor. But they need to have the same sync polarisation.

I'm running two 23" Dell S2316M monitors on either side of a Samsung 23" monitor with Nvidia. Like Haldi said though, you'll have to check their specs to make sure they can be put on the same settings.
