So four of the original developers for the game descent have grouped together to make overload and yes, their (AMAZEBALLS) teaser version works well in !!
It is a 6DoF shooter that is clearly inspired by descent.

The campaign was not looking good from the start, but I backed the crap out of this one. Need to dust off the old HOTAS and give the teaser a spin. It's on Steam now: http://store.steampowered.com/app/450220/

Hope they miraculously manage to smash those goals. Have been playing the hell out of the teaser and its so great already that i can only imagine what wonders they could do with that funding. Its already better than all the existing 6dof games of late
