Helldivers 21/9?

So I was wondering if anyone with helldivers know of to play the game without the black bars it had when playing in 21/9.
I tried the solution with HexEditor to find the sequence that is show there with The Witcher 3 http://www.wsgf.org/forums/viewtopic.ph ... 3&start=40 but It didn't worked.
Does anyone have an idea of what I could do?

It's using the same engine - Bitsquid - as Gauntlet (same devs) which supported 21:9 out of box.
So I really don't understand it
I hope we will somehow be able to get it.

They said that they intentionally block it to 16/9 to have a fair game and don't give advantage at those who are playing 21/9.
