Here's two fixes for this game - [available from the PC Gaming Wiki Community Files (search there)
- Black bars removed at 16:10 and 21:9 resolutions

Thanks for such an early fix.

Does nVidia surround check out in this game? SLI? I imagine it probably does since it appears to use the same engine as Black Flag.

This fix makes the game full screen in 21:9 but does not keep the FOV of the black bars version. Can you make it so the black bars are gone and you keep the added FOV?

By default, the game detects a 21:9 screen as triple 16:9 screen. Because of this, you get a huge FOV and it is not correct for 21: 9 screen.
With fix you get proper Hor+ screen change on 21:9 screen.

Can you make it so the black bars are gone and you keep the added FOV?

I'll try this updated fix. The first didn't work correctly.

Has anyone tried the fix with nVidia Surround/Eyefinity? How about 3x 16:10 setups, any black bars/letter-boxing?

Just played it -> http://steamcommunity.com/id/valcan_s/s ... crollTop=0 5760x1080 works perfectly in multi screen X3 , also it runs really well MAXED I like it, seems solid I only played it a tiny bit though.

plz make fix for 16x9 eyefinity (5760x1080) (i have 2/3 monitors black =((( )
or i need to use some other driver? im using the omega driver

Updated fix for game version 1.1.0

Each fix have 2 versions:
Version 1 has locked vertical FOV.
Version 2 has locked horizontal FOV.

For 4:3 -

For 5:4 - (for resolution 1280x1024)

For 16:10 - (for resolutions 1440x900; 1680x1050; 1920x1200; 2560x1600 etc.)

For 21:9 -

For Triple 16:10 - (for resolutions 5040x1050; 5760x1200 etc.)

For Triple 16:9 - (for resolutions 4800x900; 5760x1080 etc.)

It shows the game in 1280x768 with black borders around, seriously the first file of this thread is the perfect one for 21:9 monitors.

You have version 1.0, that is why a new fix does not work for you.
You must have version 1.1.0, then fix will be work.

Yeah is true! Sorry my mistake im using 1.0 and i think im going to continue using it for the moment. The first file of the thread for 1.0 runs perfect and the second one with this fog is funny too.

21:9 version 1 fix works like a charm! (tested the v2 also... but too distorded for my taste )

Ok without the fix i get only an image on the centre monitor. the left and right monitors and for some reason just black when the game is running. with fix i just get the same on each monitor. this happens on all Assassins creed games for me but everything else works fine in eyefinity (BF4, BF3, BFH, Dirt 3, etc...).

Any ideas?
