Total noob to the site from Seattle. I setup my first triple monitor getup just a little over a year ago and haven't looked back. Started with just a single LG 29" 21x9 monitor and ended up with 2 more because I loved how wide they were and how awesome some games looked on em. I play all sorts of games on the PC except sport games.

My PC Specs as follows

Monitors: (3) LG 29EA73-P 21x9 2560x1080

Case: NZXT Phantom Full Tower
CPU: AMD FX-8350 OC'ed to 5.0GHZ
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB @2000
GPU: 2X EVGA Nvidia GTX Titan Black OC'ed +200 core, +80 memory
PSU: Thermaltake Black Widow 850W
Motherboard: Asus Crosshair V Formula
Main Drive: 500GB Samsung 840 Series SSD
Storage Drive: Misc. mechie drives that equal ~ 10TB of total storage

Triple 21:9 that's a whooping 7680x1080 with bezel correction even more WoW

Yeah with bezel corrections it's 7760x1080 or when a game cooperates I use a custom resolution of 11640x1620 for super sampling
