Eyefinity black screen on VGA (catalyst 14.6)

Hello,
While trying to run eyefinity (with the mixed resolution setting) on 2 vga monitors and an hdmi monitor, the vga monitor plugged through a dvi to vga adapter shows a black screen (while the one plugged through DP works).
The software believes my screen supports a native 1600x1200 and sets it to this resolution. How can I set it to 1280x1024? Or any other solutions would be appreciated.
