Hey Guys,

Was planning on picking this up this afternoon and noticed that some people in the steam forum are already saying that the triple monitor support is borked. Sounds like a stretched screen when using triple monitors (eyefinity and nvidia surround). I figured I would create this topic here as a placeholder for discussion. I will probably have to create another topic in the developer forum if it hasn't been created already (hopefully they can fix it in a patch like bethesda did with dishonored).

Word on the street has been super-poor performance on PC - especially on AMD cards. Anybody given it a shot?

Performance seems OK here... it chokes when the overlay is on screen, but otherwise seems fine so far.

Unfortunately FWS doesn't seem to see the game for me, so the aspect ratio is still messed up... does the fix support the current Steam version?

It should.

As usual if it's non english or something - that may present a problem as the program looks for a window with a english title for example.

Normal English settings. On Steam, here in the US. Everything up to date. I even disabled Beta versions on Steam itself, but that didn't seem to make any difference.

I was starting to wonder if it was a problem with my system or install or something because Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 wasn't detected at all either...

Finally I tried Bioshock and it at least detected that, but broke it so that the main menu is hidden (filed a bug report on the FWS forums for that).

Is there something that could be causing my setup in general to just not work correctly? I'd LOVE to get this stuff working.

(You can see my Steam profile on my forum profile on here to see the games I own, so you can see I'm running the stock American versions in English on Steam itself.)

FWS v1.0.12 (x86-64) with plugins 2.1.44 - Rev: 1 up to date etc...

I can't seem to update.. what's the flawless widescreen website? http://www.flawlesswidescreen.org seems to be inactive/stolen, or is that my DNS being buggy?

any eta on the map screen and videos fix ?

Could you please post an IP address for it for Repository Source URL in the program update settings? Will it work with IP instead of URL?

No it won't work with the IP - I only just woke up so it's only JUST been fixed, shouldn't be more than half an hour or so before it propagates.

Running this with the fix enabled on NV driver version 337.50beta and the fix detects the game on start and says, "Configuring..." in the status window and the aspect ratio is not being applied. Flawless hangs on Configuring unless that's what its suppose to say.

780gtx with 16:10 monitors. 5760x1200 (48:10) set in Video options. Framerate is fluid and fine. No other issues.

Recommendation?

Domain is back now, a quick hack for those with slow DNS servers would be to add it to the hosts file

That is not the correct behaviour, but I'd like to know why you are having the issue - I had no end of trouble with the latest NVIDIA beta's I had to roll back, I doubt thats the problem however.

Has FWS worked for you in the past?

Yes it has. I've never had any issues with it ever in fact. This is the first time.

It could be the betas like you say but I'm currently running them to fix issues with the Carmaggeddon Reincarnation alpha so I'll have to wait til there is another WHQL release if that's the case.
