Mortyr 2: widescreen resolution possible?

hello,
i know it's a pretty old game and surely not the best of it's kind.
out of the box the game only supports 4:3 resolutions up to 1280x960.
i reinstalled it yesterday and tried to get it running in fullHD.
there's a config file called 'ar.cfg' where the resolution seems to be stored.
there are two values for screenwidth and screenheight.
but when changing these settings to a widescreen resolution the game always starts in default 640x480.
did anyone manage to get this game running in an other resolution than officially supported?

I can't found hex on lines at Mortyr2.exe Who knew how wrote and change more add new widescreen resolutions?This is files exe
