Can't choose any resolution above 1920x1080. Would like 2560x1600 but the .ini file is checksum protected and the game won't start if you change anything. Standard Unreal Engine 3 game. I've also tried d3d9.dll file replacement but they give errors and game won't start. Also searching the exe for resolution hex values also turns up no hits (searched for 1920 and 1080 but there were no hits for 1080).

Any help would be appreciated.

I'll jump on board this - the game pillar boxers the side monitors - even when you force the resolution through the .ini :/

The steam forums offer no solutions. For some reason, editing the ini file makes the game refuse to start. I think it's checksum protection, a few other UE3 games had a "feature" like that but I'm not certain.

Maybe the hex values for resolution aren't stored in the exe... could be in a dll...

Will there be a fix for these game?

Guys, if you hit Helifax or Hayden up - perhaps even donating money/the game it will have a better chance of getting done. You have to support the kids that make these games playable for us - I do all the time, because I wouldnt be able to enjoy have the games if it wasn't for the wsgf community. Of course you don't have to, but it's just a suggestion as these guys get requests all the time - Helifax just fixed Lost planet 3 and is going to look at The bureau, all while doing other games and working real life - I know Hayden is in the same boat.
