Going back to a single monitor

Hello,
Tonight I'm chilling at a friend's house. I've brought my rig over, but I only brought one monitor. Can't seem to get to the login screen. I can see the startup screens, but then when it would load up to the point I'd be at the login screen it says "DVI No signal" and turns off.
Not sure how to proceed. Gonna try having the monitor plugged into one port of the two GPUs at once.
