Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is any software that will allow me to record only the center monitor when I'm gaming in eyefinity?
Cheers

The easiest way to do this would be to get a recording device (card or box) and connect that to your middle monitor.

If you're up for a project, check out the Vdub guide link in my sig. It offers fully arbitrary regions/resolutions/resizing options for screen capturing.
I have big plans to revamp/change that guide quite a bit, but that will have to wait until I stop working 6-7 days a week.

Just for future reference, here is how to use NVIDIA Surround and
OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software) for your use case.
I'm assuming a continuous display with 5760 x 1080, and you want to record the center screen of size 1920x1080 beginning at position 1920x0 and ending at 3840x1080.
BBCode has no nested lists, so here comes some good old plain text:
Code: Select all
- get OBS Studio, install, run
- Settings > Video:
- Base Resolution: 1920x1080
- Output Resolution: whatever you like
- add a scene (you can skip this, if you already have a scene)
- add a "Game Capture" source, right click it, select "Filters"
- add a "Crop" filter, tick "Relative" and set the left and right borders to crop:
- Left: 1920
- Right: 1920

I always use acethinker screen recorder to make screencast, free and works quite well. It is a web-based tool that lets you record your screen right from your browser. You don't have to install any additional plug-ins or add-ons.
