Need help in picking Ultimate Monitor X3 setup..... please

So I finally finished my dream computer build. Quad 7970s, dual power supply, ivy Bridge setup.(liquid cooling next)

Now to complete this awesome setup I need help in picking out the monitors.

I don't want anything less than 27ins.

I was considering going with the HP ZR30w, which is a 30in monitor. I am willing to go down to a 27in setup if it has better picture quality.

I will be playing FPS, and suggestions are very very much appreciated.

3x

Asus VE278Q 27" Widescreen Full HD LED Monitor - 1080p, 1920x1080, 16:9, 10000000:1 Dynamic, 2ms, Integrated Speakers, DVI, VGA, HDMI

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6804682&CatId=3774

It has the 2ms response time you are looking for at the lowest possible price 320.00 USD. x 3 = 1000.00 after shipping.

The bezel is very thin compared to other models. The samsung is the only one with a smaller bezel but it is not as fast (2ms) as this one.

Since it has speakers built in you get your 5.1 surround audio going right through your monitors!

2ms reaction time.... yeah from grey to grey! But not from Color to Color ;) they're always cheating....

btw, if you're going 30" (or 27") i'd go with 2560*1440 resolution! on your Quad7970 system you'd have enough power for that!

All this awesome hardware and you're going with monitors? Get some projectors, warping software and a giant wraparound screen and say goodbye to bezels. You'll thank me.

Having used 24"s and 27"s and now 30"s. nothing comes close to the 30"s for immersion. If you have the budget go for the 30's

Currently using DELL U3011's and they are fantastic, can't recommend them enough

What kind of massive video hardware do you have in order to drive 3xU3011 at decent framerates?

With four 7970's why not go for 120hz monitors? I suggest Samsung SA950D's, though I am biased-have three in eyefinity-amazing monitors.. :)

For ultimate immersion you definitely want projectors. I went from triple 42" plasma, to triple 50" projectors and its pretty nuts. Going to try and move to 5 or 6 projectors now.
