Hazro HZ27WC LED IPS Pro 8Bit Monitor

Post by microscope »

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had any long term experience with this monitor? I am hoping to buy it asap and the professional and user reviews I can find on the net are entirely positive. But I saw just one comment that suggested there is a forum somewhere with a lot of unhappy long term customers. I am not sure if this is a troll or propoganda or someone misinterpreting something, or perhaps even true. I thought I would check myself to see if anyone actually has one and has had it for a while?

Thanks!

From what I read about it, this was one of the better screens to get, at 27" anyway.

There is no OSD, only 1 input, and low input lag. I heard the stand isn't so great, and that to start with their glass panel monitors sometimes had dust behind the screen, but after that I have only heard good. I have been umming and arring for a long time about ordering one actually, but never actually done so (too much else taking money)

Thank you I read those

Thank you :) I read those things too, but I think some of the issues might have just been with the early versions of the screen. Hopefully it's better now!

My alternative choices are the Dell U2711 A09 and the HP ZR2740. But with the Dell I heard it has some input lag and an ugly grainy AG (anti glare?) coating. And the HP looks really good but it's almost double the price of the Hazro! I am thinking I will probably just take a chance on the Hazro and I can always return it within 14 days if it's no good.

The HP has the same coating

The HP has the same coating as the Dell does AFAIK. My money would be going to Hazro, if I were to buy one today :) I am quickly discovering that I would like a bigger, higher resolution screen, which is well calibrated :)
