Vibration Pad for Chair
Vibration Pad for Chair
Hey people,
I was just reading another thread in here about a forcefeed back chair being developed. Personally, although I like the idea, I couldn't have one. My office is an office and having a big robotic thing in there just wouldn't work out.
What I was wondering though is this. Does anyone know of a pad that can be used on an existing chair that provides vibration feedback? I know that this isn't full force feedback but could be cool for driving games etc just so that you feel it in your back when you go off road a bit.

It's called Gamer But kicker... or something like that! Not a Pad but a vibrator you mount to your chair!
Or you could just buy a Subwoofer :D works kinda fine too.

That one looks interesting
That one looks interesting but I was thinking that there may be something more like this
Homedics Massage Pad
Obviously without the massage function and it used USB to get vibrations sent to it. Just like an xbox controller or something like that.

In a few flight simulator
In a few flight simulator ejection seats we just put the cheap seat massage inserts that constantly work. There is no interactive feedback on them but they help add a lot to the immersiveness of flight sims anyways.

I was supposed to get one of
I was supposed to get one of the buttkicker gamer units for review, they promised me but it was out of stock.
Waited, waited, waited, followed up many times. Finally when the unit was in stock and all they just ignored me :/
They communicated with me for a long time too, not sure what the problem was with getting stock. I was really hoping it would be great and I could do a good review of it.
Some other devices are not programed on sound but instead directly from the game engine so it knows when you get shot etc. Seem stuff like that on TV but not sure if its on the consumer market.
