Have a slight problem, i have ordered a new pc with a single 680 gtx to run 2d surround.
My monitors are Vga only Acer v223qh and i am not sure what connections to use to be able to use 2d surround.
On my brothers SLi 580gtxs i use 3 Dvi to vga connections and surround gaming works perfectly.
Has anyone got an idea if this is going to work on a single 680gtx if i use lets say a vga to dvi, a vga to dualdvi, vga to display port or vga hdmi in any combination ?

False.

I'm running 5760x1200 Surround on DVI+DVI+HDMI.

On the VGA front, I'm not sure. You'll probably get away with a DisPort->VGA adaptor for one, but I don't know whether the HDMI port outputs an analogue signal (many don't, as it's not necessary) as well as the digital one. I know that one DVI port is DVI-I (both digital and analogue) while the second is DVI-D (digital only) so you may be out of luck with triple analogue monitors. :(

Only one DVI->VGA can be used

Only one DVI->VGA can be used off of a 680. Another DP->VGA can be used as well, but then you need another card to get the third VGA.
