I bought gothic 3 from steamsale for 2.5€ and so far it's been fun. To make things better gothic works in eyefinity (game version 1.74, ini tweak for 5960x1080res) sad thing is that hud doesn't work properly (streched) and horizontal mouse movement is based on horizontal resolution (luckily you can adjust that via in game menu).

I'm trying to find a way how to fix the hud but so far it's been hard to stop playing.

It ain't easy. Very tedious. I am close to having a rough 16:9 version done but there are some text things I cannot alter which make wider aspect ratios a no go at this time.

I know there are people out there who know how to do what I am looking for but I have not heard from them.

I managed make menu's background not streched. I just edited (reduced width by 70%) the dds file. Loss of quality is rather obvious.
