Okay I'm guesing that even if it DOES work, it may not work well, but...
Have a 7970 on the way. Currently have a 6950 2gb.
Since I never hit my my current 2gb limit, I've just entertained the thought Of crossfire-ing the two. Can I? Even if I can, I suspect I may lsoe some technical advantages of the 7970. Shit, I'm just guessing.
Since I so fear the dreaded micro-sutter, I doubt I'd use it any.. more of a curiousity.
Power, case room, etc. is not an issue.
7970 and 6950 Criossifre possible?
