Hello All.
I just get a VisionTek ATU 6870 E6 with 6 miniDP output(I get it from USA friends ,because this card don't sell in China).
I have 29 screen and less 7 screens. I want one miniDP can output 2048x2304 60Hz(our MVD206 can do vertical and horizatital span), with 6 miniDP output 6144x4606 60Hz resolution.
today I have set up it. but i only have 5 DP cable . I have order anathor cable.

today testing result.
6870 one DP can output 2048x2304 60Hz ,the 5 miniDP can output five 2048x2304 60Hz resolution ,we don't creat one group. we want to create 2x3 group(but less one Dp cable).
i think that is so crazy.
i will share some picture in this forum.

I will test it and write an report for this setup.

Best regards!

hello All,
today I set up 3x3. I can select 4080x2304 at eyefinity group.but our device can support 1680x3150 60Hz. i can select 5040x3150 at eyefinity desk custom resolution.but i can't select this resolution at game. so i think this is ATI driver issue.

You're trying to game on this? On a single 6870?

It's not a driver issue, I'm sure. What's happening is, the card quickly glances at the setup when it's starting the game, does a quick calculation, and realizes you're trying to push nearly 16 megapixels on your 3x3 arrangement. At this point, it squirts coke out its nose and falls on the floor in a fit of laughter. In this state, it is unable to do anything besides ROFL.

Haha, sorry. I'm not familiar enough with the upper limitations of some of these games or the methods of calculation. I know that Deus Ex will fail to start at a vertical resolution of 1920.

I just don't picture many games running on this. Not without scaling down the resolution. I might be wrong on this, I'm certainly not an expert of these dramatic custom setups.
