Hey Guys,
I have made a entry on the official forums, if you guys could help and post and help me rally support for multi that be awesome. If you have not tried this demo yet you should its a amazing RPG --> http://store.steampowered.com/app/102500/
This game would be crazy in multi screen and its already pretty much set up for it just has one weird bug,I have screens all in my post:
In game screens none menu etc: * note to reproduce you can not touch the move buttons or the rendering will automatically break, camera moving works fine and does not cause the break in the render *
The bug in the render triggered when you move you character, once you move the in game rendering is permently broken until you close the game and re start.
Rest of my screens : http://renewsoft.com/koar_multi/

unbelieveable ! There is a Demo out and i don't know it!
So you say it's just a FOV Problem and they'll fix it ? No Need to lobby their Forum ?

Mate went over there to add my support...This is what I said.
"+1 for this!!! I've already pre-ordered + played the demo (which I loved) BUT this is a deal breaker, I've made a decision that unless this game supports multi-mon, then I'm not goning to buy it. Sorry, but there is way too many games coming out, and if developers don't start recognising that this is indeed more then a niche market, then I simply can't support them.
This game looks great, and it is indeed a game that should be enjoyed on at least 3 monitors (like most games in my opinion) but unless developers implement support...and most of the time its a pretty easy thing to do (come over to wide screen gaming forum to witness the relentless efforts of avid gamers trying to enjoy multi-mon games by having to hack what should already be implemented!)."
I see Helifax may have a solution...also I mentioned it to Hayden who also said if he had time he'd look at the demo, so we have the best men on the job. :)

I'm hoping they fixed it. I tried playing the demo and...yeah, that vortex issue. While visually an interesting effect, not really helpful when trying to play the game. :p

Well I cannot actually call it a solution but I noticed something interesting:
Case 1: if you select a resolution like 5040x1050 you will have the fov creating a "vortex" if you "zoom" it will go to the zoom mode and you can actually see where you are.
Case 2. If you select a resolution so that the difference between the H and V is smaller you will get the "into the back of the garden fov" (still very high fov) I tried with 4096x1024 or close to it.
so for example if you would have a resolution of 2000x1000 I think we would have the correct fov for 3 screens. I read that they fixed it in the final game. So I will not go indepth with hacks for the demo. But nevertheless I find this "discovery" interesting:) Later on I will provide 2 screenies to see exactly what I mean:)
Experiment a bit;))
Best Regards,
Helifax
Edit: Screenshot attached using 3840x1024 resolution. As stated above the FOV is calculated between H and V but in an exagerated way:)

Awesome work helifax as always :) m/ , so you read they have fixed the issue in the final game do you have a link?
What about the FOV will that be fixed too? I guess you can always post you fix if the final version is jacked for you clear showed the FOV its your bitch.
Great stuff, thanks for looking into it!

Cool man, thanks for spreading the word and getting our Elites to take a crack at it. Just love the game will be here in almost a weeks time.

Ok managed to fix the damn fov:)) so now I can adjust it:))
Some screenies below.
I also took some screens from the cutscenes. Also the fov there is way to zoomed as you can see. In the rendered cutscenes the whole image is moved up?!?! I wonder why... Anyway the actual game is ok now:) No more vortex effect.
Enjoy! If people want it I can make a solution for this demo:) so you can play it on 3 screens. Next stop is to improve the 3D aspect. In 3D Vision game is preaty nice except for some weird lights and shadows:)
Best Regards,
Helifax
PS: Screenshots were taken at 5230x1050. and fov is 140 degrees.
For 3D: The game overall is good in 3D but some minor issues are present: Like shadows and lights are incorrectly placed. I noticed if the shaders are set to simple the effect tends to be less pregnant. I would say that it behaves like Dead Space 1 &2 In terms of 3D: Low depth around 30% and convergence tweaking would solve most of the issues;))

I will create tomorrow a plugin that can be used with dopefish' Widescreen fixer tool;)) jut for the demo! Unfortunately cannot earlier than tomorrow evening since I will be at work;)) but I will do it;))
Now I am curious if the official game will have the same results...
I remember Dragon Age 2 having dx11 problems..which they said they fixed in the retail version...only to find out they did not:)) So we will see;))

Ok,
I managed to write the plug-in for Widescreen Fixer. Thanks alot to dopefish for taking the time to explain me how the tool works and providing the source codes so all of this could happen!!! Big THANKS!!!
What I fixed is only the "Vortex effect". So now the fov is 130 degrees. Since this is a demo I didn't make it adjustable:) If the retail version will have the same problem then I will improve the plug-in.
HOW TO RUN IT:
1. Go to WideScreen Fixer Webpage 2. Download Widescreen Fixer 3. Download the plugin attached here.
4. Put the plugin in the Widescreen Fixer folder.
5. Run the tool, select the game, etc:)
6. Play the game!
7. Enjoy!!!
Let me know how it works;))
Best Regards,
Helifax

I just tried out the fix and it works, thanks. I was getting nothing but a black screen in game before the fix.
Played for about 30 minutes but prefer Skyrim.
