Hey, no key here yet. I know some guys are in already (server admin types) so post away with your experience and screenies. I am sooooo looking forward to bf3, and hope the BETA gives multi mon out of the box.

I've a bit of confusion about this beta and I can't seem to find the answer. Can *anyone* join in the beta? Everywhere I read it seems to be just for people who have pre-ordered or bought MOH. I have done neither of those things.

Yes, on 29/09, pre-orders / MOH would give you access on 27/09.

Still waiting on my key here, and beta begins here at 8AM, not sure whats going on but...

My only confusion about this is why they are waiting till the last minute to send out the emails?!?
Why not send out the emails a day or more ahead of time?
I got up at 4am PST for no reason now. I could be sleeping right now.

Emails should have been out I cant imagine the number of people who preorder this for early access and once they do roll out, I'm hoping we are able to download it

Just recieved my beta code, hopefully everything goes great with these new drivers and my eyefinity setup.

How much framerate do you get in eyefinity

Wish I could tell you, I keep crashing to desktop every time I try to go to fullscreen :/

Well I got my key just before I went to bed last night and set it off to install and by the time I woke up my drive was gone. I got a little 64GB 6GBPs SSD to put my current games on and it has died.

Sigh so re DLing it now

My performance in surround was bad, but I was trying it with Ultra settings, so must have been running out of VRAM on my 1.5gb cards. The game was using 1400mb with just single screen.

I'll try again later when battlelog decides to let me back into a game and I can fiddle with the settings. (You have to be in a game and your soldier spawned to even change settings, lol)

ultra in the beta ain't ultra, not full textures etc. But yeah if gtx580 sli is s'posed to be OK for ultra (and I guess we are talking about 1080 res, the DICE guy didn't say) I can see a mix of medium and high for surround.

Well.... I exptected a little better frames :/

With the 10.11 Cat drivers I got about 40fps outdoor on Metro....

Menu for Screen adjust (why u no make it smaaaaler???)... I believe you can adjust where the Menu and OSD's are... though this is as slim as it gets, so infos are still on the side screen


And the Finish-screen.... not exactly Widescreen-ready



Edit: BTW... they did actually think about multi-monitor-gamers! You can choose which monitor is your primary if you want to only play on one screen.

Can someone please post some screenshots for comparison ? 4:3, 16:10, 16:9 and multi-mon, so we could update the Detailed Report ? Im still downloading the beta.

Has anyone tried with SoftTH yet?

all medium for 580SLI and it sits at about 30, a tough game. Need upgrade :)

I have 2 5870 in crossfire mode and the newly released ATI beta "bf3" drivers but the game is unplayable. Plants and trees pop in and out. Anyone else having trouble in crossfire mode and eyefinity?

I'm using 3x24 in portrait due to Dead Island, =S

2 x 6870 Crossfire
8 GB DDR3 1600

Getting arround 35/60 FPS, mainly using Ultra and High settings (nothing < High), no AA. I am also not using the preview driver.

Those graphics look like crap
