The Witcher 1 or 2?

When The Witcher came out, i bought it and tried to play it on my computer. I finished the first chapter but the framerates were so low that i waited for a computer ugrade. Fast-forward to 2011 and i finally have a decent gaming computer. Now i have a new problem: The Witcher 2 came out. Because my gaming time is somehow limited, i won't be able to play both. So here's my question: is the second game noticeably better than the first one?

I played the 2nd before the first, and I love it. 2nd game is very good.
Witcher 2 has better graphics

I decided to play The Witcher 1. I figured it would be less taxing for my 5770 in Eyefinity than the sequel.
