Bezel Adjust

just got my 3 screens running in eyefinity all is well at the max res for the three benq 21.5 screens
But....
on some flight sims (DCS A10 & IL2 CLOD) I cant run at full res (just pushing it a bit too far :-) ) so have to drop down to 4800*900 (say)
now the bezel adjustment doesnt seem to work, there is a missmatch between screens
go back to the full res and the screen is fine but cant really run the sim
any ideas or any one come across the same problem. I switch screen sizes via the CCC and use the bezel compensated sizes.
also tried setting the screens and gameing options via profiles but this seems to be a hit and miss affair..sometimes when you load a
profile it changes the options sometimes it doesnt...
any ideas would be helpfull
