Comments on a Gallery / Thanks (or +1) to Posts

Hi there,
It's wonderfull how the new Forum works. But there are some little things that i miss.
First: Comments on a Photo or a complete Gallery. Now it's like "Look, there we have a gallery, take a look" but you're not allowed to say "Oh this is a nice picture" or something like that. Yeah i Know, this is not Facebook.... But it is like the gallery an the Forum are two totaly different things. I know, its not that important, but i just have the feeling that it's missing.
Second: There are some real good explanations, guides or Topic in the forum, and i often thought "Where is the *Thanks* button?" I'm sure a lot of people would like this button to show that they are gratefull.
What do you think about my ideas ?
