NEC will introduces at InfoComm 2011 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando it latest 23” PVA Monitor the EX231Wp. Featuring an ultra-slim design with a 14.6mm bezel width and 14.2mm depth, the EX231Wp thanks to its PVA Panel and LED Backlight offers a 3000:1 constant contrast ratio (Max 25,000:1) with a 250cd/m2 brightness Touch-sensitive On Screen Display (OSD) controls, Ambient light sensor, Human sensor and even a Quick-release stand allowing to easily carry around your 23” Full HD Monitor!

The EX231Wp will be available within July in the USA at around $319 USD

14.6mm is ultra thin ? Mine doesn't look more than 18mm !

320$ for 14.6 is pure daylight robbery. My acer s23hl has 15 mm and it costs 160.

But that NEC is a PVA panel. I've never seen one in person (to my knowledge) but I'm pretty sure they're better than TN, though not as nice as IPS.

Still, certainly not ultra-thin.
