3 or 5 Monitors
Talking about how they are in a partnership with AMD and getting it to work right with 3 or 5 screens.
Here's the PC Gamer article...

Wow looks amazing. Hopefully it at least bears some resemblance to the previous Deus Ex games, and then this will be a definite buy.

Yeah I hope this lives up to (even if it is not as good as) the first game. Just close to as good means excellent game.

They've been really working closely together with AMD for awhile now on that title. It's been shown at every AMD event I've worked with in the last year on Eyefinity setups. I got a hands on of a build last October and was pretty impressed.

Amazing. I was already looking forward to this game, but now I'm really excited.

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to let you know: we've recently added an in-game FOV setting to the DXHR PC!
cheers,
Jim.

I hope this partnership with AMD doesn't mean us NVidia-Surround users become casualties in some GPU turf wars.
Payback for Witcher 2?

Payback for Witcher 2? :p
Well it seems to work nicely

Well it seems to work nicely enough FOV/Aspect-wise with 5760x1080 on my Nvidia surround set up, but the HUD is located on the outside monitor... kind of a bummer to have to turn my head so far to see my radar/energy readouts.
From the video I saw of the game running in eyefinity on youtube the HUD was centered, so it looks like it only supports triple wide properly for AMD users :(

Nope, we AMD users are screwed as well. I have an AMD based Eyefinity setup at 6008x1080 and the HUD isn't centered for me either. I will try with bezel compensation disabled at 5760x1080, I know some other games only centered the HUD on uncompensated resolutions.
Feh, same problem, no

Feh, same problem, no difference with bezel compensation on or off. Anyone find any system files lying around that can be poked with yet?
Sucks for Nvidia

Sucks for Nvidia ;(
The game integrates with AMD specific APIs to access the primary monitor location, bezel sizes, etc.
The game will list EyeFinity enabled in the setup dialog specifically.
The UI as well as some other things get placed on the primary monitor, while up to 5 additional monitors are used for peripheral vision.
Since these features are implemented using AMD specific APIs these are not currently available on NVidia hardware.

Developer is saying we don't have Eyefinity properly setup.

I've tried re-creating my Eyefinity display group a few times now... still doesn't work. Also doesn't work without bezel compensation. On latest Catalyst 11.8 with 11.7 CAP3 application profiles.
Edit: Saw that 11.8 CAP2 was released. This has fixed the problem. HUD is now properly centered.
Must be nice that you guys

Must be nice that you guys can even get the game running. I'm using 580 SLI Surround and I'm getting constant crashes. The game can't run in multi-monitor for more than 5 seconds before crashing out. Seems to work on single screen though.
It's incredibly disappointing and I may just bin this game until someone decides to make it not broken.
I upgraded to 11.8 and CAP2

I upgraded to 11.8 and CAP2 on my 2x 6950's and am not getting a centered HUD (radar way off to the left). I did recreate the eyefinity group in CCC and reset bezel compensation, crossfirex, etc. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
My Steam overlay is also really jacked in game -- it flickers really bad and I can't take screenshots successfully (get a black screen).
Game runs pretty well at 6048x1080, Medium FXAA, 8x Aniso, Soft Shadows, Post-Processing on, Tessellation on, Normal SSAO (this gave a significant boost), DOF High. Averaging in the 50's.
on 11.8 and CAP2 as well, no

on 11.8 and CAP2 as well, no center HUD for me. Seriously, how hard is it to have an INI setting.... Pretty much every game that tries to use the AMD APIs fails at it somehow.
If anyone here got center HUD working please post instructions?

edit: also my desktop keeps blue screening if I alt tab deus ex or anything like that.. it's that or 11.8 drivers fault?
I posted how I got it working

I posted how I got it working here: http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?p=1656629&posted=1#post1656629
Basically, all I did was install the new CAP profiles. If you want to ask me any questions or run any tests just let me know.
Edit: Poor tet5uo, I feel like we AMD users hijacked his Eidos thread. Sorry about that mate, that wasn't my intention.
Heh, it's okay, I don't think

Heh, it's okay, I don't think it was going to help much. It seems 100% intentional that they don't support Nvidia-Surround nor Nvidia 3d-Vision with this game so posting to let them know that it didn't work was kind of useless anyhow :)
