Chronicles Riddick Dark Athena mouse accel related to rez?

There seems to be some kind of mouse accel/ lag going on in Riddick Dark Athena.
It's worse the higher the resolution.
Vertical Sync is off, and I'm not sure what else to try or what's causing it.
Pretty annoying as everything feels really floaty
