Hallo WSGF Cracks

New Problem from Germany , Sorry for my English

I have 3 Moinitors (24" 5760x1080 ) in Displaygroup by 2xHD 5870 E 6

Now i have a Beamer (LED >HDMI >FULL HD) and want it to Extended 4th Display - but How

I have Look Hour´s and Hour´s in CCC but don´t found a Answer

AMD´s Pictures shows it´s possible to get 3x1 and 1 Extended

Anyone now how to fix this Problem

CCC say it´s not Possible in 3x1 to get the 4th in Clone or Extendet when i Try it

Please Help

That's weird. Maybe you're not using another active adapter for the 4th monitor.

I've run a 3x1 Display group and 3 extended monitors just fine before.

All Diplsyport Adapter´s are Original AMD Products and will work fine

I can use the Beamer as an Stnad Alone Display, my Problem is not to get the Beamer to work with PC

I need help to said to my CCC i will get this Configuration but CCC said it don´t work

Can anyone help me please ??!!

I can only use the Beamer as an extened Display when i Deakivate the Crossfire and put the Beamer alone in 2nd 5870 E 6

Than i have 3x1 Displaygroup and extended Beamer but want to use onlyOne card and Crossfire with the 2nd

but i will use my 3 24" Displays and my 1 Beamer on 1 Card 5870 E6 but never works why ??

I will use crossfire and put all my "Monitors" on 1 Card to get the 2nd in CF

Help please can not fix

i use a 5850 for eyefinity and use a cheap pcie x1 gfx card for my 37inc sharp tv via hdmi and it works fine.

Anyone know a Answer here ????

Please, i want to get the 2 cards in Crossfire and all my Monitors on 1 Card to get Eyefinity 3x1 Plus 1 Extended

But it dosn´t work for me, everytime i get the right configuration the error message comes from CC

its not the cable (Still working fine at 2nd Card)

Honestly, I think you are only using 1 active adapter, in which is only allowing you to use 3 of the displays on 1 card. Use two single-link adapters for your monitors and then use the passive adapters for your tv (the card comes with a minidp->hdmi adapter) and the other monitor.

i think he is trying to combine the 4 displays into 1 group
if you look at jetfires pic his monitors are in 2 groups
create a group with 3 monitors
then click apply
then right click on your 4th display (under please select a display) and select extend

ps: you definitely have 2 monitors connected via the 2 display ports with 2 active adapters if the monitors dont have a displayport connection ?

amd dont make displayport adapters you may be getting confused with the mini displayport to normal displayport adapters that come with the card.
when we say active adapters we mean display port to hdmi/dvi/vga adapters (of cours if 2 of your monitors have a displayport connection you dont need them)

I have 4 !!!! Active Adapters 3x DVI to Mini Displayport 1 HDMI to Displayport and shure they all Active Adapters

I have Create a group with 3 and with right klick on 4th of extended but the Error massage is coming on this point (see picture up in Post)

All this Stuff don´t Work i have contact AMD for Support i Hope they can Help me too

Okay now that that is over, I'm actually surprised. AMD doesn't make ANY adapters. Also I'm sure that you mean the other direction (MiniDP->DVI and MiniDP->HDMI). What are the model numbers of the adapters you're using. Or at least link us to those adapters so we can help you out.

A single 5870 can drive, at most, 3 displays at once.
2x 5870 could drive 3 displays each, for a maximum of 6 displays.
Crossfire mode only supports displays connected to the primary display. You can NOT have displays connected to both cards in Crossfire mode.

So, you can not use 4 displays and Crossfire at the same time with 5870s. You'd need cards that can drive 4 displays on a single card.

He's using an "Eyefinity 6 Edition" So he can use 4 displays at once. (I should know, I'm using one right now)

perhaps if the above poster could post a step by step guide - you could follow it

only reason i can think of why its not working for you is
1: 1 or more of your adapters are not active
2: your tv has a different polarity (dont know much about the subject)

It's just like any other eyefinity setup.

You connect everything up using the right connectors.
Put all the monitors you want in the group in cloned mode together.
Create Group.
Select positions of monitors.
Bezel comp (if applicable)
done.

so your setup is different from jetfires he has 3 in a group plus 1 extended
did you have to buy any adapters or did they come with the card

With Beamer as Extended - On One Card with the Secound Card in Crossfire,

I have Contact AMD-Support , normaly i can use 12 Displays on my 2x5870 Eyefinity6 Card´s or 6 Displays and Crossfire

All the Normaly ways i have go with AMD-Support - don´t Work , they do not know why

What version of drivers are you using? I think that is your problem. With 10.12 on my sisters comp with eyefinity6 I setup a 2x2 display group of 1920x1200 (3840x2400) to run a vp2290b and once I did that I could not extend to her second monitor (1920x1080). The drivers simply would not allow me to do it. I could, however, do clone to all 5 outputs.

Later I upgraded to the 11.2 drivers and I had *no* issues creating the 2x2 display group and then enabling the 5th output (second monitor) as extended desktop. One thing I did first was disable the output to the 5th monitor after I hooked it up. Then manually created the display group of the other 4 outputs while the 5th one was still disabled. Once I had the display group created I could enable (as extended) the 5th output.

I think ATI's drivers are just finicky and you have to use the right ones. I am guessing the version that the other poster who got this working also allows this like the 11.2 (current newest) ones.
