Laptop Battery Dead - Suggestions?

Hey guys, long time no see. Unfortunately I have been far too busy to be active.
Quick post for an irritating issue: my laptop's battery died (well, died so much as it throws annoying error codes constantly). It's a Dell Inspiron 6000. I mostly use it for typing papers and occasionally surfing the 'net.
I don't really need a new laptop, this one is plenty powerful for what I use it for. I've been looking around for a replacement battery, and most of them I find to be around $120-140 (from legitimate, ResellerRatings backed websites). Dell's list price is roughly $150. The cheapest I've found (~$50) was from a site called "LaptopBatteryOne." Their ResellerRatings...rating, looked good, though all of the reviews were in the last month and by reviewers who have only posted one review (hrm...). The BBB lists them as being registered as of this last February, with an A- rating.
So:
1.) Should I buy from them? Gut says no, wallet says yes.
2.) Does anyone know of a less expensive outlet (under $100) to buy a replacement battery from?
3.) If the above fails: inexpensive laptop recommendations with a regular sized keyboard?
