Eyefinity monitor order grouping swapping follow wake-up

Hi all,
New Eyefinity user here (finally sold my trusty TH2Go a few weeks ago). I'm using a 6850 with two monitors via DVI and the third via the Sapphire Active DP -> DVI cheapie adaptor. Having two problems so far :-
1. I've set the monitor arrangement to be 5040x1050. If my computer puts the monitors to sleep when they wake the order of the monitors is mixed up (different arrangement each time). To get it back to normal I either have to delete the Eyefinity group and start again, or alternatively use the Windows settings to change resolution (twice, first to set the wrong resolution then again to set the 5040x1050 again).
2. If I play a game that is configured to run at 1680x1050 the game is displayed in triplicate on all three monitors. With the TH2GO it would realise what I was doing and only display the image on the centre monitor only - no manual intervention required.
I've tried searching for solutions to these issues but not having much luck. If anyone has solved these problems could they please offer their solutions - thanks!
