Here is what I ordered.

I am later over clocking after the warranties are up. I wanted to know if installing drivers any different from am2 and how compatible will my video cards a I have now will be. They are 8800gts 640mb version.

As you have chosen an i7-930 you may want to consider using a Tri-Channel DDR3 kit 3gb/6gb/12gb instead of using Dual-Channel DDR3.

You have not specified what operating system you intend to use, however should be ok with drivers and compatability for your card will be fine with that board and cpu combination.

I just noticed there is only a 10$ difference between the i7 930 and the 950 on Newegg...

Go 950.

The other day, it was cheaper to get a 950 from Scan than a 930. Strange, but true.

Also, make sure the RAM is the low voltage stuff, and triple channel as Delphium said. The memory controllers on i7 chips don't like having tons of volts shoved through them, you'll burn the chip out. 1.65v is Intel's official maximum. Dunno what Ripjaws are like, but if they're like the OCZ Reapers I've got, they're DDR3 designed for 1.9v...

The memory is only 1.5 volts acording to newegg so I should be fine. Thank you for telling me about the voltage.
