Hello,
I read alot of previous posts regarding the DP to VGA adapter used for eyefinity.
But I kept reading conflicting results about whether it can be run in 1080P in eyefinity.
Can anyone please confirm whether it works at that resolution, and if so, which brand do you recommend for those who are happy with it.

Thanks,

magnet

Work perfectly, I'm actually using a setup right now that has all MiniDP->VGA Connections running 3 1080p Monitors.

Hi,
What brand of DP-VGA do you have, and what's the max group resolution?

I use this exact one: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10428&cs_id=1042802&p_id=5107&seq=1&format=2

Max Display Resolution is 5760x1080 (Without Bezel Compensation)

I know these adapter can do 1920x1200. If I didn't pack up my TH2Go, I could probably get 3840x1024 on it.

Great to hear. I am going to give it a try. I am one of many eyefinity users who have been having issues (link loss, back outs) with active DP to DVI adapter. I hope the VGA version gives me less headache.

I'm one of those using the DP->VGA adapter from Monster and having NO issues with it on my 1080p LCDs.

I'd definitely try the cheaper models first as this one cost me $50. But, for the stability that I'm getting after the headaches and hair-pulling I went through with the active adapter, I'm very happy.

HP's DisplayPort to VGA adapter works for me beautifully and I really cannot tell the difference about VGA versus DVI.
