I have two 5870s and 3 24inch lcds work great in landscape in eyefinity mode, however I want to play in portrait mode and I can only create a group of 2x1?
I am running win7 64bit and cat 10.7s

So to summarize, 2 5870s, 2 lcds connected via dvi, one via displayport and I cannot create a 3x1 group. Weird.

3x1P
Okay, Disable all but one display.
Put that one display in portrait mode.
Then create a group.
Save the profile afterwards.
3x1L

After that, you can switch between profiles with ease.

Thanks I have disabled 2 and have one in Portrait.
When I go to create a group it only gives me 2x1 and 1x2 options.
I have Xrossfire disabled.
This is strange it worked upstairs on my racing pc and now not downstairs - same pc configs...grrr

Fixed - I am a dumbass
I have the displayport and dvi plugged into card 1 and the 3 lcd dvi plugged into card 2...............
Plugging them all into card 1 resolved, what a goose!

whoa, I wouldn't have guessed that. But in theory, it should have worked, because the two cards should be cloned.
