Yeehaw, get them doggies rolling!
And guess this is the reason why they pay attention:
These issues have also been highlighted by recent tests featuring NVIDIA's competing Surround Vision multi-display technology.

For nearly a year I and others have sent numerous tickets to AMD about this, without results.
It took the above tests by NVIDIA to get them to do something about it.
They had the opportunity to "strike while the iron was hot" long ago. Now they are playing catchup.
Anyways, I just hope it gets resolved ASAP.

Those 10.7a beta (what a name !) are the first Ati drivers to support quadfinity :cheers :cheers
It is far from being perfect but you will feel that there is a meaning in having two 5970 for the first time :P The benefit is quite good in some games. Other ones still suffer from various issues.
Note: Quadfinity hates Vsync at that stage. It should be turned off in both drivers and game set-up for most games.
I will try to make a more detailed report; I have a heat issue with my two 5970 and I need to solve it before: When the cards are back to back, temperature exceeds 100 degrees. So currently I had to plug the second card to the my 4th pcie slot (instead of the 3rd one), so it only runs at pcie x8. It is interesting to see that the second card brings FPS in nearly all games even in this non-optimum set-up.
