Sorry if this question should go in the eyefinity section...but since its somewhat monitor related, figured I should put it here.
I currently have an U2410 and could get 2 2408wfp from a buddy. Would this work well in eyefinity...ips and pva together? Would it be better to wait and get 3 U2410s? I guess I was wondering how pva - ips - pva setup work vs all ips. If it does not make a difference then I would go the mixed monitor route.
Thanks
u2410 with 2408wfp

Mixing IPS and PVA will be notisable and you'll have a hard time matching them. Since you can put them as peripherial screens, you can reduce the effect somehow, but I would have gone U2410X3 instead if you could. Since its your friend, perhaps you can borrow them and check out for yourself? :)

+1
I had 2x Dell 2007FP (PVA) and a 3007WFP (IPS) and was not able to match them. Looked like this:
Though it was absolutely amazing to play a racegame in such a resolution. :bowdown So my advice is not to match monitors for triplehead gaming in any way. I'm going for 3x identical 24" Screens now.
